Do you have these qualifications and are a cleared individual? a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a field related to national security or international affairs, and at least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience working in a headquarters-level DoD staff, e.g. Joint Staff, OSD, Combatant Command, Army Service Component Command, Army or other service staff. Specialist will support the DAMO-SSR Deputy Division Chief and the Allies and Partners Integration Branch Chief, by receiving and directing taskings, requests for information, and other official requests for coordination, routing tasks within SSR as necessary, tracking manpower and task status, and ensuring all taskings are answered in a timely manner. Specialist will also support DAMO-SSR programs and HQDA senior-leader engagements, through activities including but not limited to; assisting in preparing read-ahead, talking points, country papers, meeting and engagement summaries, and other staff products; organizing and maintaining a library of such documents; coordinating meetings and VTCs; escorting individuals and facilitating access into the Pentagon or other DoD facilities; managing organizational calendars, and supporting and reviewing travel requests in the Defense Travel System (DTS). The specialist should be familiar with ETMS2 (SIPR and NIPR) or its predecessor, TMT, and must have demonstrated competency in using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word. Preference for experience organizing teams collaboratively in virtual (Teams/SharePoint) environments. Other duties as required to support requirements within the DAMO-SSR portfolio. Some travel may be required.
